Male Hair Loss

Male hair loss is influenced by three factors: age, a genetic tendency towards baldness, and the presence of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). For men with DHT-sensitive hair follicles (the genetically inherited trait), high levels of DHT in the scalp cause the follicles to gradually shrink. Male hair loss: Medical Hair Restoration is the best medical hair surgery center. Male hair loss is of two types such as Alopecia areata or spotty hair loss and Androgenetic alopecia or male pattern baldness. It may be due to aging, hereditary, some drugs, illness, stress and hormonal changes.

Male hair loss happens because of a chemical called Dihydrotestosterone, or DHT, which builds up around the hair follicle and eventually kills both the follicle and the hair. It's the hair follicle's resistance to DHT that's genetic. Male hair loss can start during a man's mid twenties and progresses more rapidly as they grow older. Once a man starts to age, their hair's overall growth cycle cannot match increasing levels of hair loss. Male hair loss starts with a genetic factor inherited from either parent coupled with other variables such as age. The stage of male pattern baldness begins with a signal to the hair follicle to start producing an enzyme known as ' 5-alpha reductase'.

Male hair loss does not occur all at once nor in a steady, straight-line progression. Hair loss is characteristically cyclical.

Dietary causes are amazing causes of hair loss. So women who diet or are bulimic or very thin women who don't have much meat on their bones may very well be nutritionally deprived, vitamin deprived, and they will end up with hair loss as well. Diet is always on top of the list whenever something goes wrong with your body. With male hair loss, it is no different.
